How are emergencies handled after hours?
If you have an after hours emergency, you may call the office phone number and press 4 to reach Dr. Ward, and he will call you back immediately.
What age range of patients do you see?
We see adults, children and senior citizens. Children are typically seen for the first time at three years of age and may be referred to a pediatric dentist if it is indicated. We see many patients from Bristol Glen Care Facility and Andover Sub Acute Care.
Do you accept new patients?
We are always happy to see new patients! To insure accurate diagnosis and thorough treatment, all new patients are scheduled for a comprehensive oral examination, including any necessary x-rays and diagnostic procedures. Our treatment coordinators will write up a plan for your future treatment.
Are most procedures performed in your office or would I be referred to a specialist?
Dr. Ward is a general dentist who performs all types of treatment including extractions and root canals in his office. In almost all cases procedures can be performed here. In the rare situation where a patient cannot be treated here, there are specialist here in our building.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Financial arrangements offering extended terms are also available through Care Credit. Our treatment coordinators and billing specialists are experts in making excellent dental care affordable for almost every budget.
Will you file a claim with my insurance company or is that my responsibility?
As a service to our patients, we submit claims to your insurance company. Patients are responsible for their estimated percentage of the fee and or deductible at the time of service unless financial arrangements have been previously made.
Will you still see me if you do not participate in my insurance?
We have many patients in our practice that we are not a plan doctor for. We will submit to your insurance company. You may have a higher co insurance. Sometimes cleanings are still covered when you see a dentist outside of your plan. It is best to contact your insurance company as each plan is different.
Where should I park?
There is plenty of parking in our building lot. We have handicapped spaces available. Our office is handicapped accessible.
What type of cosmetic procedures do you perform?
We do many types of cosmetic dentistry including, whitening, veneers, crowns, tooth colored (composite) fillings, children and adult braces including Invisalign. We specialize in partial and full dentures.
