General Dentistry

Dr. Ward treats patients of all ages. for a wide range of dental procedures. All phases of dentistry are completed at his office. This is beneficial to patients and their busy lives. Wheather you need cosmetic, restorative, surgical or orthodontic treatment, Dr. Ward can help you achieve your ultimate smile.

On a daily basis, Dr. Ward performs general procedures such as your oral examination and review of digital xrays after the hygienist cleans your teeth. At that time further treatment may be discussed such as the need for a filling, crown, or tooth extraction.

Patients, new and existing, may call with an emergency and are given same day appointments. Often times they may have broken a tooth and need bonding, a filling, or a crown. A common emergency call is a patient who may have an abcess. Dr. Ward can treat this problem by performing a root canal or extraction. Whichever treatment is best for the patient is first discussed, then completed in his office making the process more convenient for you, the patient.

As our young patients grow and develop, it may become necessary to address the need for orthodontics to correct over or under bites, crowding or clicking and locking of the jaw. Dr. Ward treats patients with traditional braces, Invisalign, depending on age and individual needs. Orthodontia is an area of particular interest to Dr. Ward. He is trained and continues to educate himself in the latest technologies.

Wisdom teeth extractions are at times indicated for our young adult patients and most often are done by Dr. Ward in his office.

Cosmetic procedures include porcelain veneers, tooth whitening and tooth colored (composite) fillings. Dr. Ward evaluates each patient to discuss their individual goals for a more beautiful smile.

Restorative procedures include dental implants, dental crowns, bridges and partial and full dentures and are most often indicated in patients with injuries or who are just going through the aging process.

Instead of visiting multiple offices for one tooth, Dr. Ward is capable of performing most all procedures needed to restore your tooth to its original health and beauty. Only in the rare, extreme case does Dr. Ward feel the need to refer a patient to a specialist. When he does we have specialists conveniently located close to our office.
